School Lunch Association 50/50 June Draw

The School Lunch Association is excited to present its 50/50 raffle, a fantastic opportunity to win cash prizes while supporting a vital cause. Half of the ticket sales will be awarded to one lucky winner each month, with the other half helping to fund nutritious school meals for children across Newfoundland and Labrador. In addition, there will be an early bird draw each month for up to $500 worth of groceries! By participating, you’ll be making a direct impact on ensuring students have access to affordable and healthy lunches, fostering better learning and well-being.

Tickets are easy to purchase online through our secure platform, and every ticket increases your chances of winning while making a meaningful difference. All proceeds go toward offsetting costs for the School Lunch Association’s program and continued expansion efforts to more schools.  Ultimately this will help us reach more children in need. Join us in this exciting initiative to support children in our province—one lunch at a time!

The School Lunch Association is a registered charity whose mission is to operate a non-stigmatizing program that provides a hot, nutritious lunch for school children regardless of a family’s financial situation. The School Lunch Association has been operating since 1989 and currently services 43 schools across the northeast Avalon, Clarenville and Gander. 

The School Lunch program offers a pay-what-you-can model, with a requested price of $5.00 per meal.  We understand that everyone has a different financial situation and as such families have the option to pay what they consider is affordable to them. It could be $1 and up to $5 for a single meal or nothing at all if cost is a barrier. Families may also choose to pay a different price from one month to the next month, depending on their situation.  The actual amount contributed by each family is confidential.
